Our Redeemer All Adore

Description

This hymn traditionally starts with the third line “From all that dwell below the skies”. This is a powerful song about the fact that God deserves worship from all of creation and in fact, will one day receive it as every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). All of mankind will praise Him for His eternal mercy and truth and this praise will go on forever – til suns shall rise and set no more. What a joy that one day all will adore our Redeemer!

Lyrics

Through every land, by every tongue
Let the Redeemer’s name be sung.
From all that dwell below the skies
Let the Creator’s praise arise;

Eternal are Your mercies, Lord;
Eternal Truth attends Your Word:
Your praise shall sound from shore to shore
Till suns shall rise and set no more.
Till our Redeemer all adore.

    Where can I find this hymn in it’s original form? I have enjoyed listening to the arrangements. I hope to be able to begin using in our worship times.

    For His Glory

    Jim,

    The hymn is in a great many hymnals but I flipped around the order of the first verse for this arrangement. Look for “From all that dwell below the skies” from Watts…

    Hey David & Family,

    We’re singing this song for worship this Sunday, and I’ve never played it, so I was SO thankful to be able to hear it! I love your music – and that you have free downloads is SO incredibly helpful to church pianists like me. :) Hope your family is well.

    Blessings,

    Katie Bruno
