This hymn traditionally starts with the third line “From all that dwell below the skies”. This is a powerful song about the fact that God deserves worship from all of creation and in fact, will one day receive it as every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11).
